On Thursday, January 31st, sworn rivals Menlo School and Sacred Heart Prep will duke it out on the basketball court in what should be a heated matchup. The last time these two teams faced each other, on the SHP home court, the Knights won handily, 62-42, handing the Gators their only league defeat of the season so far. Eric Debrian, who was injured for SHP in that matchup, has returned for the upcoming matchup, where the Gators will surely be hungry for revenge.
The Knights have been on a roll, steamrolling the competition during the month of January without a single loss. The trifecta of Joe Foley, Thomas Brown, and Riley woodson is deadly, and Sacred Heart had no answer for the trio in the last game. Menlo’s bench is full of great two way players, holding down the fort when the team is leading. The Knights look to finish what they started on their homecourt.
